Sam Burns Sam Burns  
 

Sam Burns brings a global perspective to his position as the Managing Director for the Middle East Region. Mr. Burns is a subject matter expert in the development of top line revenue growth strategies for financial service providers, as well as in the technology needed to implement these strategies. His experience in designing customer-centric strategies crosses the retail, credit card, small business commercial, high net worth and private banking arenas.

Prior to joining Zafin Labs, Mr. Burns was the Practice Leader for CGI’sCustomer Management Practice . While in his role Mr. Burns worked with leading banks designing and implementing innovative customer focused strategies. His responsibilities included solution development, talent management and mentorship. In addition, he was also responsible for managing the profitability of the Practice.

Mr. Burns also served as a Senior CRM Subject Matter Expert for American Management Systems (AMS). While at AMS, he acted as key team member in the design and implementation of one of the most successful customer-centric transformation programs in the North American banking industry.

Previously, Mr. Burns worked as a customer-centricity strategist for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce within the retail and Amicus Bank divisions. He was also a key member of the International Information Management division of American Express, where he instituted innovative decision science-based strategies aimed at the growth and retention of AMEX customers participating in the Membership Rewards program.
