miPricing enables a relationship banking strategy through innovative functionality including specialized product manufacturing, relationship-based pricing, and customer-centric billing capabilities. The module has two main components with strong feature sets:
The Active Product Catalogue acts as a central point of truth within the library of products and packages that most banks offer. Its simple architecture belies its flexibility as a full service pricing tool; the active product catalogue, which consists of granular, user-defined data in the form of policies, products and packages, means that miPricing can receive any input while producing output that enables true relationship-based pricing. The catalogue also acts as the key user interface into the pricing and billing engine.
The Pricing Engine executes bundling and relationship-based pricing calculations. The engine supports multiple calculation algorithms such as flat, unit, and tier-based, including minimum, maximum and deviation thresholds. It also features complete regionalization support, from multiple currencies and countries to differential tax treatment, price apportionments, and aggregated computations. The calculations it perfoms can be based on any combination of static or dynamic attributes or inputs, including geography, segment, age, credit rating – it is limited only by what data can be supplied.
