As CEO of Zafin Labs AG Deutschland, Frank Geiser is based in Berlin and is responsible for establishing Zafin Labs' operation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. One of his primary tasks will be to establish cooperative working relationships with universities, consultancies and software companies in the region. He will also establish relationships with potential new clients in the financial services industries.
Mr. Geiser comes to Zafin Labs with extensive management and consulting experience in financial and high-tech industries. Before joining Zafin Labs, he held a senior managerial post with Communicant Semiconductor Technologies AG in Germany. He brings a wealth of legal, business and academic experience, having served as a board member of Gist; a member of the Association for Banking Law and the Academic Association for Banking Law in Frankfurt. He was a member the Berlin/Brandenburg Working Forum For Insolvency Law and was a principal founder of Geiser and von Oppen, which specialized in the creation and reorganization of companies in the regenerative energy, communication, automotive and infrastructure industries. He has also served as a consultant for several international law firms specializing in the reorganization of technology companies.
Mr. Geiser has published several scholarly articles in capital market law for Humboldt University in Berlin. He studied Economics at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen; Law at the University of Berlin; Administrative studies at the Academy for administrative studies in Speyer, and specialized study in tax law at the RFS Institute For Tax Law in Berlin. He is also an accomplished vintner, having studied wine-making at the Université Michel de Montaigne in Bordeaux.
